The Union of Youth Initiatives in Alexandria
CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
AGORA Arts & Culture is creating a "Union" for youth Initiatives in Alexandria. The Union will be concerned with maximizing the visibility of youth initiatives, empowering youth with opportunities and skills as well as providing assistance, advice and consultancy.
The first activity in reference to the "Union" will be "The Young Arab Voices" project which is a joint initiative of the Anna Lindh Foundation for dialogue between cultures and the British Council.
In context of the "Young Arab Voices" project, AGORA will be concerned with creating "Club Debates" within each initiative, giving training to a delegation from each initiative who should multiply the skill by giving this training to other members in the initiative. At the end, three public debates will be organized.
Topics should be in the context of:
- Youth empowerment, participation, volunteerism etc.
- Culture and Creativity

How to join if you are a youth initiative?
Youth Initiatives will join the Union by filling in the application form, sending a delegation of minimum 4 persons to get the training which will be end of December – first week of January. The training is for free as the expenses are covered by the Anna lindh Foundation and the British Council. Also the training that youth initiatives will undertake within their own initiative will also be covered. Youth initiatives will participate in public debates which will be covered by media and press and will be efficiently marketed by the team.
How to join if you are an individual who is interested to join the training and the debates but you are not part of a youth initiative?
AGORA Youth Club is not excluding those individuals who are not part of any youth initiative. You can join as "AGORA FOLK". Just fill in the application form to join the training and be part of the debates.
What other services will I get if I join as a youth initiative?
UNION SERVICES:
- A proportion of AGORA's website will be dedicated to gather information about youth initiatives in Alexandria.
- A Brochure will be printed which will contain information about Youth initiatives in Alexandria.
What other services will I get if I join as an AGORA FOLK?
As an AGORA Folk you will be able to participate in programs such as the Youth in Action, European Voluntary Service, and other local and international Youth projects.

أجورا للثقافة والفنون على صدد انشاء "الاتحاد" لمبادرات الشباب في الإسكندرية، للتحقيق أقصى قدر من الانتشار للمبادرات الشبابية ، وتمكين الشباب من الفرص والمهارات فضلا عن تقديم المساعدة والمشورة والخدمات الاستشارية.
سيكون أول نشاط للـ "الاتحاد" أن "أصوات الشباب العربي" وهو مبادرة مشتركة بين مؤسسة آنا ليند للحوار بين الثقافات والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني.
في سياق "أصوات الشباب العرب" سيتم إنشاء "أندية المناقشات" في كل مبادرة، وتنظيم تدريب لمجموعة مختارة من كل مبادرة، ثم يجب مضاعفة المهارات من خلال إعطاء هذا التدريب للأعضاء الآخرين في هذه المبادرة. في نهاية، سيتم تنظيم ثلاث مناظرات عامة.

كيفية الانضمام للمبادرات الشبابية؟
يتم الانضمام إلى الاتحاد عن طريق ملء استمارة الطلب، وارسال مجموعة من الأشخاص 4 أفراد على الأقل للاشتراك في التدريب الذي سيتم في نهاية شهر ديسمبر - الأسبوع الأول من يناير. التدريب مجانا حيث يتم تغطية النفقات من قبل مؤسسة آنا ليند والمجلس الثقافي البريطاني . كما سيتم أيضا تغطية تكاليف التدريب الذي سيتم تنظيمة من قبل المبادرات داخليًا للأعضاء في المبادرة. تقوم المبادرات بالمشاركة في الناظرات العامة التي سيتم تغطيتها في وسائل الاعلام والصحافة وسيتم تسويقها بشكل فعال من قبل فريق العمل.
كيفية الانضمام إذا كنت فردا يهمه أمر الانضمام الى التدريب ولكنك لست عضواً في أي مبادرة شبابية؟
لم يستبعد "نادي أجورا للشباب" أولئك الأفراد الذين ليسوا جزءا من أي مبادرة شبابية. يمكنك الانضمام إلى "جماعة أجورا" بمجرد ملء استمارة الطلب للانضمام الى التدريب وسوف تكون جزءا من المناقشات.
ما هي الخدمات الأخرى التي سوف يحص عليها المبادرات الشبابية من خلال الانضمام في الاتحاد؟
خدمات الاتحاد:
- سيتم تخصيص مساحة من موقع أجورا الالكتروني لجمع معلومات عن المبادرات الشبابية في الإسكندرية.
- سيتم طبع بروشور يحتوي على معلومات المبادرات الشبابية في الإسكندرية.
ما هي الخدمات الأخرى التي سوف أحصل عليها إذا انضممت "لجماعة أجورا"؟
باعتبارك عضواً في "جماعة أجورا" سوف تكون قادر على المشاركة في برامج الاتحاد الأوروبي للشباب، والخدمة التطوعية الأوروبية، وغيرها من المشاريع الشبابية المحلية والدولية.
